This week the scope of the project changed from adding songs and ideas to the Youths Choice playlist to creating some more engaging social media posts, this was a change requested by the station manager however I’ve left my research in for it as it was important also to the new music posts. Due to this the first day of the week I spend looking through all types of social media accounts from radio stations to meme accounts to professional businesses that targeted a similar age group to Youths Choice in order to get a better idea of what I was needing to produce. After this, I focused on meeting with two separate focus groups and coming up with some questions to spark conversation about the mockups I was going to present to them for both my New Music Posts and General Posts.
I produced a total of 7 mockups between the post types to show my focus group, these mockups were produced with my research in mind. Luckily the posts that had the biggest positive reception from the groups were the posts that best represented my research.
