My content is Instagram posts for a student radio station. This consists of relevant content for the age groups 14-21. As you can see by the content examples this could consist of monumental events such as the Queens Platinum Jubilee or what song is in the charts.
Posting this in Instagram further allows this content to be seen by the target audience (14-21) as that’s the main age group that use it according to info.lse.ac.uk ‘59% of internet users between the ages of 14 and 29 use Instagram’
Demographics
The main demographics for this content is young people aged 14-21, studying or in the first few years of employment. This demographic is important as people this age tend to not have as much free time that those who are younger or older. This is because of extra work such as revision for exams and homework as well as in the first few years of employment the chances are a lot higher of you staying late or arriving early into work.
My content suits this age group as the photos are colourful and attention grabbing often with familiar faces to this demographic on them such as Kate Bush or Sam Ryder. The captions are kept short with a simple title and a little bit more information as well as ‘trendy highlights’ on the most important and most familiar parts of the text.
This content is made to be posted on Instagram however is also compatible for places like Twitter, Facebook and more. The design however is Instagram first as that’s where my demographic is lightly to spend their free time

The ideal audience member for this content would be a 17 year old female, this person would shop at places like H&M, Primark, Amazon, Aldi and Tesco. They would enjoy watching TV shows such as Stranger Things and Sex Education, they would be a student at college with a weekend job at Primark and most likely working class.
