What was your skill level before you started the Skills Build? Complete beginner (from nothing), some knowledge or quite advanced already? Expand on why your level was like this?
With illustrator I have already used it in the padt the the likes of image tracing and creating logos however a lot of the creating new shapes elements was fairly new but it definitly helped I already knew my way round the software!
How did you find learning the tools and what you could achieve in Illustrator? Which tool(s) did you enjoy using the most? Which tool(s) was/were the most awkward/pointless/challenging to use? Why?
The pen tool (if you know how to use it) is of course my favourite tool as you can create any shape with it! The addition of the shape builder tool was handy too!
Is Illustrator still too confusing? Did you find the instructions on the tasks and/or your teachers helpful in showing you what you could achieve?
Nope, illustrator is a great tool for creatives and I do really like it. Sometimes it hogs a bit too much of your computers power but other than that it’s great!
Which assignment did you think you did well on? What made that assignment outstanding for you?
The pizza task was my favourite just as it was really fun to build and put together from a matching image. It’s also logo creation witch I‘m already familiar with
What assignment(s) could you improve on, given more time/tuition? How would you improve it?
I could have improved on the first few projects (and not forgetting to export in not 1ppi lol)!
